JERRY SEINFELD’S COMEDY CRITIQUE… No Big Deal, Buddy!!!

At last, Howard Stern has responded to Jerry Seinfeld’s criticism of his comedic abilities, claiming that he isn’t genuinely particularly funny and that it’s all just “water under the bridge.”

Given that they were close friends, the radio icon claims that when Jerry called to apologise, he was truly surprised and perplexed by his point of view. However, Howard claims that at that moment, he was prepared to forgive Jerry.

In an interview with “The Howard Stern Show,” he states, “I read it [Jerry’s comments] and I thought, ‘Oh, that’s weird,’ since Jerry is one of our personal friends. Particularly, Beth [Stern] and his wife Jessica [Seinfeld] are close friends.”

According to HS, when Jerry called to clarify that his remarks had come across incorrectly, he informed him that he didn’t really care about it at all, that everything was fine, and that he didn’t need to apologise. But he accepted it since he apologised nonstop.

JS was so upset about it, in fact, that he wanted to apologise in person on Howard’s show. However, Howard informed him, “It’s okay, I don’t want to get into it. It’s not necessary.”

Howard acknowledged to Jerry that he had frequently had to apologise for offending someone he liked or was a fan of, so he understands what it’s like to say regretful things on television.

Remember from earlier this month? Jerry claimed on David Spade and Dana Carvey’s podcast, “Fly on the Wall,” that he didn’t believe Howard was particularly amusing in the context of contemporary podcasting and implied that he had fallen behind the competition.
