West Bromwich Albion have been fined £30,000 by the Football Association following crowd trouble at The Hawthorns which caused their FA Cup defeat by rivals Wolves to be suspended by 38 minutes in January.
Fights began in the corner of the West Stand and Birmingham Road end of the ground in the 78th minute of the fourth-round tie, while missiles were thrown elsewhere and fans spilled on to the pitch.
Albion managing director Mark Miles said the club accepted the decision and added: “West Midlands Police is also continuing its own criminal investigations into individual fan behaviour”.
The FA also warned the Championship side for misconduct in relation to crowd control after Albion admitted breaches of FA Rule E21.1 and E21.2.
The game, won 2-0 by Premier League side Wolves, was the first meeting between the Black Country rivals in front of supporters since 2012.

Miles added: “The club remains resolute in its condemnation of the unsavoury scenes which marred the Black Country derby earlier this year.
“The behaviour we witnessed that day is totally unacceptable. The club has since banned or suspended in excess of 40 supporters who were involved in the incident.”
