Mara on the move
talkSPORT understands Southampton striker Sekou Mara is joining Strasbourg in a £10m deal.

Mara is set to undergo a medical at the Ligue 1 side today.

The French striker joined the Saints in 2022 and has made over 50 appearances for the club.

However, he struggled to claim a regular starting spot in the line-up and Russell Martin is now happy to let him move on.

The former Bordeaux man will return to his home country with Strasbourg hoping to reignite his career.

Man United have agreed to sell winger Facundo Pellistri to Greek side Panathinaikos for just over £5m, talkSPORT understands.

United have also inserted a significant sell-on clause in the deal.

Pellistri will leave Old Trafford after five years at the club, having made 25 appearances for the first team.

His last appearance was in the Community Shield against Man City as he came off the bench in the second half.

The Uruguayan, who spent last season on loan at Granada, will now depart permanently in search of some more regular playing time.

Aaron Ramsdale – Wolves have submitted a loan offer with a buy option in their bid to bid to sign Ramsdale. Arsenal are looking for around £25m.

Sander Berge – Fulham have agreed a £25million fee with Burnley for midfielder Berge. Man United have been interested in him.

Eddie Nketiah – Arsenal have rejected a £25m bid from Nottingham Forest for the striker. The Gunners are holding out for between £30m-35m.

West Ham are in advanced talks to sign Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Carlos Soler, talkSPORT understands.

The Hammers are looking to sign the Spaniard on an initial loan deal.

It is believed their pursuit is being led by boss Julen Lopetegui.

Soler has spent the last two years at Parc des Princes, where he has scored eight goals in 63 matches in all competitions.

Prior to his move to France, he enjoyed seven seasons at Valencia after coming up through their academy.
