Leicester City want surprise £20m+ deal for 31-year-old Luton Town man
Reporter Alan Nixon claims that Leicester City is eyeing a move worth over £10 million for Luton Town goalkeeper Thomas Kaminski.
Following a hectic summer at Kenilworth Road, Luton Town hopes to close the summer transfer window on a high note.
Following the Hatters’ relegation to the Championship, a number of players have naturally moved on, and more players may do so in the closing days of the month. Rob Edwards will be eager to keep his important players, but in the event that some do leave, it will be hoped that they can be replaced.
With just one point gained from the first three games of the season, it hasn’t been a fantastic start either. Thomas Kaminski, the goalkeeper, was sent off against Portsmouth in a disastrous manner, so he was unable to play in the most recent loss against Preston North End.
However, it is now rumored that the Premier League is a fan of the Belgian goalkeeper.
Reporter Alan Nixon claims in a post on his Patreon page that Leicester City is attempting to wrest Kaminski from Luton Town at this late point in the summer window.
The Foxes are considering a move that might be valued at over £10 million. According to reports, Kaminski would seize the opportunity, and the club is not ruling out a sale.

Although it’s unclear if these rumors will materialize, Leicester City seems strange to be chasing this trade this summer.
Mads Hermansen, who started every game during the Foxes’ championship-winning campaign, is a reliable young number one. Jakub Stolarczyk, Daniel Iversen, and Danny Ward are all listed as backup goalies.
It would be unexpected if they were signed as a striker, even if there was one. Additionally, a sum above £10 million does seem excessive given that Kaminski will turn 32 in October.
Maybe that’s what Luton Town is asking for in exchange for losing their starting goalkeeper. However, considering that Leicester isn’t exactly flush with cash this summer, it appears to be an add move.
