The Northern Illinois and Buffalo Bulls football teams are scheduled to meet in a Mid-American Conference contest at Huskie Stadium in DeKalb, Illinois, on Saturday, Sept. 21. The game is scheduled to start at 3:30 p.m. ET/2:30 p.m. CT.

NIU, ranked No. 23 in The Associated Press poll, comes into the matchup 2-0 overall. Most recently, NIU beat Notre Dame 16-14 on Saturday, Sept. 7. Against Notre Dame, NIU quarterback Ethan Hampton went 10-for-19 for 198 passing yards and one passing touchdown.

The UB Bulls enter the contest 2-1 overall. On Sept. 14, Buffalo defeated UMass 34-3. Facing UMass, UB Bulls quarterback C.J. Ogbonna went 14-for-22 for 185 passing yards and one passing touchdown, and he ran six times for 3 yards and one rushing touchdown.
