Sad news for texas tech: He won’t play again

Texas Tech WR Josh Kelly listed on latest injury report
Monday, the Texas Tech football program released its latest injury report and the team’s top wide receiver, Josh Kelly, was included. The transfer from Washington State who leads the Red Raiders with 31 catches and 376 yards this year is listed as “questionable” with an ankle injury.

The good news is that head coach Joey McGuire said earlier this week that he would be surprised if Kelly doesn’t play this weekend against Cincinnati. If Kelly is unable to play, though, McGuire said that players such as Jordan Brown, Drae McCray, and Brady Boyd would have to step into his role in the offense.

Other important Red Raiders who appear on this week’s injury list include starting inside linebacker Ben Roberts (shoulder), starting edge rusher Amier Washington (hip), and starting corner Bralyn Lux (thigh).
