Angel Reese sign a Cyber Deal with her boyfriend Jalen Duren…

Earlier this month, Chicago Sky’s Angel Reese found herself at the center of a social media storm after making comments about her WNBA salary, sparking widespread reactions online. Reese‘s remarks quickly went viral, leading to a wave of criticism.

“The WNBA don’t pay my bills at all,” Reese said in an Instagram live video. “I don’t even think that pays one of my bills… I wouldn’t even be able to eat a sandwich with [the WNBA salary]. I wouldn’t even be able to live.”

Some accused her of trying to attract attention, while others mocked her finances, calling her “broke.”

Despite earning a modest $73,439 during her rookie season, Reese‘s main income streams come from several endorsement deals. She has secured partnerships with brands like Good American, Beats by Dr. Dre, Reese’s Pieces, and Tampax, alongside earnings from her podcast, “Unapologetically Angel.”

“That check that I do get here is a bonus,” Reese told ESPN. “Being able to play for what, four to five months, and get $75,000 on top of the other endorsements that I’m doing, I think it’s a plus for me.”

Adding to her growing list of achievements, Reese recently signed a multi-year contract with Reebok, which will include her own signature shoe set to release in 2026. After the deal was announced, the 22-year-old used the moment to address her critics, firing back at those who had mocked her following an Instagram Live session

“God is so good!!! (looks like I can “afford” my bills now),” Reese tweeted.

This isn’t the first time Reese has taken a stand against online criticism. Earlier in the month, she drew the attention of Taylor Swift fans after appearing on a podcast episode with Kayla Nicole, who previously dated NFL player Travis Kelce.
