PAIN DEPARTURE: Dion Dawkins Fall a Victim of plain Crash According to….
A plane crash near Buffalo Bills lineman Dion Dawkins’ house killed one person Thursday morning, according to police.

The single-engine 1979 Beechcraft A36 plane carrying one person from Lansing, Michigan en route to White Plains crashed in a small wooded area between two residences in the area of Stewart Court in the Town of Aurora around 11:30 a.m., police said during a press conference Thursday.

Police said the Buffalo Niagara International Airportal issues and the East Aurora Fire Control Dispatch Center received a 911 call at 11:22 a.m. for a small plane crashput out an alert at 11:16 a.m. for a single engine plane experiencing mechanic.

The identification of the individual who was killed has not been released.

Dawkins was excused from practice for personal reasons, according to a post on X by ESPN reporter Alaina Getzenberg Thursday, but returned later in the day.

“I still wonder why things happen in life,” Dawkins told reporters when asked about the plane crash Thursday. “I just hope that the pilot’s family is OK … somebody lost their life today … and I’m glad that my family is perfectly fine
