Reese has always had positive things to say about her mother, who also played college and professional basketball. In the past, Reese has praised her mom for being “independent” and taking care of her and her younger brother, Julian Reese, on her own.

According to Reese, her mom “molded her” into the woman she is today.

Ahead of her rookie season with the Sky, Reese opened up about how excited she was to continue developing her brand while in the league.

The Maryland native has secured lucrative deals with global brands like Beats by Dre, Reebok, Cash App, Reese’s, and the international fast-food franchise McDonald’s.

“The deals don’t just stop in college,” Reese said. “When you go to the pros, they continue, and I feel like they’ve grown even more. Now that I’m a pro, I can do so much more.”

During her first season in the WNBA, Reese shared that her signature shoe with Reebok would be released in 2026. In the past, she reflected on why she signed with that brand’s basketball department, which former LSU player and NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal oversees.

“One, they didn’t have a women’s basketball player [who was the] face. So, I wanted to be that,” she said. “[And two], they’re letting me be the creator behind everything that I want to do. I’m bringing Reebok back.

During the 2025 March Madness competition, Reese looked back on the moment she and the LSU Tigers won their national championship game against Caitlin Clark and the Iowa Hawkeyes.

“D-mn,” she wrote. “I won a natty [two] years ago today [and] it changed my life forever.”

In that game, Reese played 29 minutes, scoring 15 points and securing 10 rebounds. She also had five assists, three steals, and one block.

Her college skills certainly followed her to the W, as she finished the season as the league’s leading rebounder. She also became the first rookie in the league’s history to secure a double-double during the All-Star game.
