NRL news 2024 | Josh Addo-Carr handed breach notice by the NRL….

“The breach notice alleges that Addo-Carr has engaged in conduct which is against the law and has brought the game and his club into disrepute.”

Addo-Carr has five business days to respond to the breach notice.

9News Sydney reporter Danny Weidler wrote on X that Addo-Carr is expected to be fined $15,000 and hit with a four-week ban

The Bulldogs winger fronted the NRL Integrity last Thursday (September 19), with the club set to act once that process has ended.

Bulldogs general manager Phil Gould previously said there’d been “too many contradictions” in Addo-Carr’s story.

Gould will make a recommendation to the board on Addo-Carr’s future.

“There’s a whole lot at play here, there’s a whole lot at play about the perception of our club, the image of our club, the standards we want to set, the culture of the young players coming through our system and also setting a precedent for what may come in the future,” he said on Wide World of Sports’ Six Tackles with Gus.

“There’s a lot to consider but that’s what leadership is about. It’s about doing the right thing for our club and our culture and that’s what we’ll do.”
