The Cincinnati Bengals beat the Dallas Cowboys on Monday Night Football to improve to 5-8 and keep their playoff hopes alive. It was a tight game throughout, but the Bengals pulled through for a 27-20 victory. The Bengals snapped a three-game losing streak and the Cowboys had their two-game winning streak ruined and fall to 5-8.The game was ultimately decided after Dallas botched a blocked punt, allowing the Bengals to recover the ball with two minutes remaining in the game. Burrow finished the game 33-of-44 for 369 yards, three touchdowns and one interception, marking his fourth straight game of at least 300 passing yards and three TDs. Chase finished with 177 yards and two touchdowns and remains the NFL leader in receiving yards (1,319) and touchdowns (15).
Cowboys quarterback Cooper Rush, filling in for injured Dak Prescott, finished the game just 16-of-31 for 183 yards and two touchdowns (to WRs CeeDee Lamb and Brandin Cooks) and one interception. Running back Rico Dowdle had a great game, running for a career-high 131 yards.
Cowboys linebacker DeMarvion Overshown suffered an injury to his right knee in the 4th quarter, a huge loss for Dallas. Center Cooper Beebe was ruled out at halftime after suffering a concussion.
