Twenty years after her breakthrough Wimbledon victory, Maria Sharapova proved that she still rules the lawns of the All England Club. In her first visit to Wimbledon as a spectator, the Russian dressed to impress as she took in a new view from the “best seat in the house”: the Royal Box on Centre Court.
Sharapova turned heads in a complete Burberry look—a fashionable nod to the tournament’s traditional English roots—wearing a wool safari shirt and trousers in honey beige, and pairing the fit with a mini ivy green bag, tortoiseshell sunglasses and contrasting wine-red ‘baby stiletto’ heels.
Tennis fans can always count on Ayan Broomfield to serve up a fierce look, as the player-turned-content creator seamlessly switches between preppy tenniscore and red carpet glam as she supports boyfriend Frances Tiafoe on the ATP Tour.
With Tiafoe finishing inside the Top 20 after an up-and-down season, tennis fashion lovers will be rooting for him to make another deep run at a major—like at the US Open, where Broomfield put on a one-woman courtside style masterclass during the American’s trip to the semifinals.
“At this year’s US Open, I wanted to go for a little bit more and really showcase my personality,” she wrote in a fashion diary for Grazie Magazine. “I like to take somewhat simple pieces and add my own flare to make them unique, using accessories, texture, prints, and even color.”
