
Going undrafted hardly is the end of the road for determined players.
Since the 2025 NFL Draft concluded, the Vikings worked out agreements with 20 undrafted free agents.
Those players, along with the Vikings five-player draft class and others will convene next week for periods of learning and competing in a rookie minicamp at Twin Cities Orthopedics Performance Center.
Several current Vikings have taken the UDFA path to a 53-man roster spot by the start of their first season: Eric Wilson (2017), Ryan Wright (2022), Ivan Pace, Jr. (2023), Dwight McGlothern (2024) and Taki Taimani (2024). Bo Richter, Gabriel Murphy and Jeshaun Jones also joined the team as undrafted free agents last season.
The 2025 UDFAs can look to them as proof of what’s possible.
The group includes three offensive linemen, four receivers, two tight ends, one running back, one quarterback, two outside linebackers, two linebackers, two cornerbacks, one safety, one defensive lineman and one Australian-born punter who is part of the NFL’s International Player Pathway Program.
