Dallas Cowboys face many challenges now Mike McCarthy has to decide what to do with the team

From contracts to ptting the best players on th field, the Cowboys have a lot on their plate

The regular season is close, and the Dallas Cowboys face many challenges for 2024. With some contracts coming up soon and trying to select the best players to put on the field, Mike McCarthy has a full plate in his hands.

However, with all this said, there are other challenges the team will face and technically it has nothing to do with their players, even if they face the other teams to try and beat them in a convincing way.

After the schedule for the entire 2024-2025 season was released, there is some concerned about what they can do to stay in a high level for the entirety of the year and stay competitive to try and make playoff push, but things will not be easy.

The lone star team started with a complicated schedule, since the betting houses put them below some other institutions in the league. It remains to be seen if they break the curse of not winning a title since 1995, when they won their fifth crown.

The tough schedule with tough opponents

Dallas will open the season against the Cleveland Browns on September 8 away. That game will be Tom Brady’s television debut as a sportscaster, but most important they will try and match up against Myles Garrett and the Cleveland defense, a tough task to start the season.

This year, the Cowboys will host nine games at AT&T Stadium in Arlington. There are eight rivalries that are repeated as visitors this campaign. Dallas will face several teams that reached the playoffs last season such as the San Francisco 49ers, Houston Texans and Detroit Lions. However, things could get easier near the end.

In the November and December stretch of the season, the Cowboys will face just three playoff opponents, including a Monday Night Football clash against the Houston Texans in Week 11, a Sunday Night Football game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in week 16 and the two annual games against the Philadelphia Eagles, the first at home in week 10 and the last as a visitor in week 17.
