Pro Stock Motorcycle racer and team boss continues to be critical of lack of parity in the bikes class, offers a possible solution.

The team manager and pro stock motorcycle racer is still critical of the lack of parity in the bike class and suggests a potential fix.The weekend that NHRA Pro Stock Motorcycle rider Gaige Herrera’s record-breaking 11-event winning streak ended, rival Matt Smith harshly criticized the NHRA, claiming that car counts will decline in the absence of some parity in the class.Smith believed that the only way a rider could beat Herrera’s Vance & Hines motorcycles was if they broke, so he went so far as to threaten to remove his five motorcycles from the class. Smith removed his team’s bikes during a Friday qualifying session at the NHRA Northwest Nationals, which were held this past weekend at Pacific Raceways in Seattle, to demonstrate what a boycott of that kind may entail.
