February 16, 2024, Los Angeles, California Bruce Dickinson has announced two new guitarists to the touring lineup ahead of the March 1st release of the record The Mandrake Project via BMG and the beginning of a four-month tour.
tDue to certain personal obligations, guitarist and producer Roy Z will sadly and regretfully not be touring with the band, according to Dickinson. He’ll stay in Los Angeles to finish re-mixing and re-mastering the back library. Though everyone is aware that the show must go on, this endeavor is too significant to let it settle for anything less than excellence. Roy put together the majority of the album and touring band, brought Dave Moreno and Mistheria to the project, and coached guitarist Chris Declerq. For these reasons, I’m devastated about Roy’s passing. My main goal now is to win over a small portion of the audience’ hearts each night because I’m so enthusiastic about what Philip and Chris will bring to the stage together.
Tickets for the general public will go on sale on Tuesday, February 20 at 10am PST. As a result, the first opportunity to see the six-piece live will now be on April 15 at The Observatory in Orange County, USA. Dickinson says, “This show will be as close to a rehearsal as you can get. It’s exciting to think what these musicians can do – and will do, when there are over one thousand fans in the room! We’re not afraid to do some growing up in public!”
