Former Georgia Bulldog defensive lineman and Super Bowl Champion DeAngelo Tyson’s son is quickly becoming one of the top young running backs in Georgia.

That would be Brookwood (GA) standout, Brayden Tyson‍.

As a freshman for the Broncos, Tyson ran the ball 113 times for 642 yards and four touchdowns for a Brookwood team that had a very tough 2023 season. Still, Tyson was a bright spot, and his potential was easy to see all year long.

Tyson camped at Georgia this week, earned an offer, and broke down his reaction with

It felt normal”, Tyson told Dawg Post. “Not in a sense of entitlement, but in the sense of controlling the things I can control and everything else will fall in place. UGA is a familiar place for me. I’ve sat in college classes with my dad while he attended. I have a lot of experiences at UGA.”

As a prospect, Tyson does a good job of running behind his pads and picking up yards after contact. He sees the field well for his age, follows his blocks, and knows how to carry defenders for extra yards. He runs with authority, and you don’t wrap him up properly, you aren’t bringing him to the ground. He also shows some versatility, showing reliable hands in the passing game. He’s a tough, physical runner who will only get better over the next few years. With Georgia extending an offer, look for more major programs to do the same as the summer continues.

Another 2027 back to earn an offer this week was Grayson’s Joel Bradford. A two-sport athlete who sure doesn’t look like your average freshman, Bradford is built well for his age at 5-foot-10 180-pounds with a mustache that this insider couldn’t grow in less than three weeks.

The Grayson staff has been raving about this young back all spring and he’s bound for a giant sophomore season for the Rams this fall. Bradford worked out for the Georgia staff on Thursday and left Athens with an offer. Of course, he made sure to tell Dawg Post all about it.

“I was there for a 7v7 with my school and then I was asked by the RB coach to do a separate workout. When my coaches told me I had an offer I went crazy.
