The transfer portal has been filling up quickly for both college football and college basketball. For the Kentucky Wildcats, they are now looking to add some pieces to their roster after spring practice.Kentucky football 2023: Mark Stoops' Wildcats win opener vs Ball State

One of those spots has been at running back. Mark Stoops and his staff have been tied to several different running back transfers at this point in the offseason.

The most recent name introduced to the BBN has been Louisville Cardinals transfer Peny Boone. It appears that he will not be the addition.

According to a report by Nick Roush of KSR, Boone will not be transferring to Kentucky for next season despite his desire to join the Cats. Per the report, it is an academic credit hour issue.

Boone started his career off at Maryland before he headed to Toledo. After this past season, when he was named MAC Offensive Player of the Year, he transferred to Louisville. Now, with him looking to leave the Cards, it would be his fourth school in five years. As you can guess, that is where the issue stems from.
